This qualification will provide New Zealand business entities with people who have the skills and knowledge to manage and lead, and to achieve entity objectives, at a strategic level in a bi-and multi cultural environment.

Graduates will have the skills and knowledge needed for effective management and leadership leading to increases in productivity.
Entry Requirement :
Domestic Applicants -

At least 20 years of age at programme start date

a minimum of 14 numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher in Mathematics or Pangarau on the National Qualifications Framework

50 credits at Level 1 or above with at least 12 credits each of three subjects plus a minimum of eight literacy credits at Level 2 or higher in English or Te Reo Maori; four credits must be in Reading and four credits must be in writing

Provisional entry can be granted to applicants with sufficient work experience.
International Applicants -

IELTS 6.0 with individual no bands less than 5.5 or equivalent as per the English Language Proficiency Requirements for International students determined by NZQA.

Graduates with the NZ Diploma in Business (Leadership and Management) (Level 6) will be able to work or gain employment as a Business Development Manager, Production Manager, Operational Manager, Programme Coordinator, Facilities Manager, Planning and Performance Manager, Business Continuity Manager, Procurement Manager, Customer Service Manager in various business sectors.
